--- title: "Live Hologram Presentations with HEREweHOLO" description: "HEREweHOLO's Holobox lets a speaker appear live as a life-size hologram at multiple locations at once, using holographic telepresence over 5G or a fixed connection, based in The Hague." canonical: "https://appear.hereweholo.nl/toepassingen/live-hologram" --- # Live Hologram Presentations with HEREweHOLO HEREweHOLO offers live hologram presentations: holographic telepresence that lets a speaker appear life-size at one or more locations at once over a low-latency 5G or fixed connection, with built-in camera and microphone for real two-way interaction with the audience. ## Key facts - Delivered via the Holobox, a life-size 3D holographic display, with the Holowall and Holomini also suited to live presentations - Uses a low-latency connection (5G or fixed line) so picture and sound travel both ways between speaker and venue - The unit has a built-in camera and microphone array so the speaker can see and hear the room - A speaker can appear at multiple venues simultaneously using the live link to feed several units at once - Installation needs only a standard power socket, stable internet connection and about one square metre of floor space, and takes about an hour - Minister Kuipers appeared live as a life-size hologram at the Nictiz Festival Digitale Toegang using this technology - HEREweHOLO designs, builds and installs its hologram displays in The Hague and delivers across Europe ## What is a live hologram presentation? A live hologram presentation is holographic telepresence: a speaker is captured at one location and displayed life-size at another over a low-latency connection, either 5G or a fixed line. Picture and sound travel both ways, so the audience experiences something closer to the speaker actually being present than a flat video screen. ## How does the live link work technically? The speaker is captured at one location and displayed life-size at the other location over a low-latency connection, using 5G or a fixed internet line. Because picture and sound travel in both directions, the interaction between the speaker and the room feels immediate rather than delayed, similar to a live video call but rendered at life size. ## Can the speaker see and hear the audience during a live hologram presentation? Yes. The Holobox has a built-in camera and microphone array, so the speaker can see the room, hear questions from the audience and respond in real time. No separate or loose camera and microphone equipment needs to be set up on site, since the hardware is integrated into the display unit itself. ## What is needed at the venue for a live hologram presentation? A venue needs a standard wall power socket, a stable internet connection, and about one square metre of floor space for the Holobox. HEREweHOLO delivers, installs and tests the display and the connection beforehand, and installation of the Holobox typically takes about one hour. ## Can a Holobox also play pre-recorded content instead of a live feed? Yes. The same Holobox unit used for live hologram presentations also plays pre-produced content, so an organisation can combine a live appearance with recorded presentations within one programme, using the same display without needing separate hardware for each format. ## At how many venues can a speaker appear at once with a live hologram? The live link can feed several Holobox units at the same time, so in principle a single speaker can appear life-size at multiple stages or venues simultaneously, rather than being limited to one location. The exact number of simultaneous venues depends on the connection and setup for each project. ## What products support live hologram presentations? - Holobox: life-size holographic display with built-in camera and microphone, described as the default choice for live presentations because it allows a real two-way conversation with the room - Holowall: modular hologram wall combining several panels side by side, suited to larger halls and stages where a wider, theatrical display surface is needed - Holomini: compact and portable hologram display, suited to smaller sessions and roadshows where the display needs to travel easily ## What are example uses of HEREweHOLO's live hologram presentations? - A cabinet minister opening an event without travelling: minister Kuipers appeared live as a life-size hologram at the Nictiz Festival Digitale Toegang and addressed the room - A single keynote speaker appearing at two conferences at once, standing in a studio or at a main venue while appearing as a life-size hologram with audience Q&A at a second location - An international board or executive opening a product launch or town hall in the Netherlands from their own office, with two-way picture and sound, without flying in - A guest speaker or expert appearing 'present' at several roadshow locations in succession within a single day ## Frequently asked questions ### How does the HEREweHOLO live hologram link work technically?
