What happened with the Holobox at CAST in Nieuwegein?

For the launch of a new collection, HEREweHOLO brought a Holobox to CAST in Nieuwegein. Instead of another rack of products, a life-size hologram made the collection float and turn at true scale, without glasses, visible from the corridor. Anyone walking past stopped, and anyone who stopped got the full presentation of the collection.

What is CAST in Nieuwegein?

CAST in Nieuwegein is described by HEREweHOLO as the trading platform for footwear, sport and fashion since 1984, with more than a hundred showrooms where brands and retailers meet. Because every brand there is showing a new collection at the same time, standing out among the showrooms is difficult.

Why did the client use a Holobox at CAST instead of a product display?

HEREweHOLO's client used a Holobox at CAST because a life-size, glasses-free hologram holds attention at the moment a buyer would otherwise move on. The collection appeared floating and turning at true scale and was visible from the corridor, so passers-by stopped to watch, and those who stopped received the full story of the launch.
